Amateur team West Hull edged out National Conference League rivals Hunslet ARLFC 24-18 to set up a third-round tie with 13-time winners St Helens in the Betfred Challenge Cup.
Goole Vikings stunned London Broncos in their first fixture as a professional club, beating them 17-10 at Rosslyn Park to book a fixture against Wakefield Trinity.
Vikings, who are coached by three-times Cup winner and former England forward Scott Taylor, came from 10-0 behind to claim victory.

The Broncos’ team only featured a handful of regulars from their Super League squad last season but they initially looked on course for victory after two early tries from Connor O’Beirne and Sadiq Adebiyi but Tom Halliday scored Vikings’ first try late in the first half and they dominated the second period.
Former Leeds centre Thomas Minns brought them level with a long-range effort, then ex-Hull FC Academy stand-off Mackenzie Harman scored an interception try and scrum-half Reece Dean added a drop goal.
They will be joined in the last 32 by two other community clubs, York Acorn RLC and Wests Warriors of London, who are set to face Super League heavyweights Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos respectively.
York Acorn, who were the most successful community club in the 2024 Cup as they won four matches to earn a fifth-round tie at Halifax, beat Oulton Raiders 22-2.
Meanwhile, West Warriors of the Southern Conference League thrashed the British Army 36-18 to earn a tilt at 14-time Cup winners Leeds Rhinos.
